HOW DO I JOIN COMTA?

Membership in the Central Oklahoma Music Teachers Association is open to all teachers who are also members of the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. The steps to join all three organizations (MTNA - national; OMTA - state; COMTA - local) are easy. (OMTA Collegiate Members receive FREE dues to COMTA).

WHY JOIN?

MTNA gives its member current and important information as well as access to many networking, leadership, mentoring and educational opportunities. Programs are available for students of all ages and levels of ability. OMTA provides these same opportunities at the state level. Membership in COMTA allows for a local group of teachers to support each other, learn together and provide local events for our students. Attending local monthly meetings allows for continuing education for the teacher and a strong support network for the independent teacher.
